This one is for the serious diver and is ready to resist water at depths of 300 meters, or 1000 feet. It doesn’t just look good on land, this chronometer is made to be readable while underwater with a domed, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides. The skeleton hands and raised indexes are rhodium-plated and filled with white Super-LumiNova. The watch is presented on a blue rubber strap and driven by the OMEGA Master Chronometer Calibre 8800. Tudor Pelagos LHD

This watch will get you to an impressive 500 meters (1,640 feet). The self-winding mechanism will give you approximately 70 hours of power. Of all the watches we’ve reviewed, this one is probably one of the most complete traditional mechanical divers’ watches available today. At 42mm, the case is made of titanium and steel with a satin finish. The black dial makes it easy to read in practically all situations, with the date clearly displayed at the 3 o’clock position. The band is a titanium bracelet with folding clasp and safety catch in steel. The extension system is one of the more intuitive ones we’ve seen developed and patented by TUDOR.

Victorinox Swiss Army I.N.O.X. Watch

Like anything with the Swiss Army name attached, this watch is made for the adventurer. You can certainly dive with it…but this tough piece of engineering can bounce around in a washing machine for 2 hours, fall almost 100 feet, and even get run over by a tank with barely a dent. Go ahead and dive in the pool, or surf the big waves with this one…but it’s also the perfect watch for climbers, construction workers, and casual weekend-warriors. The 43mm steel case has a black dial with luminescent hands for easy, high-contrast reading. It’s water resistant to 200 meters.
