A Throwback to Functionality with Tudor's Heritage Advisor

Posted by Schiffman's at 11:12:09 AM in Tudor (5)

In the world of luxury watches, the Tudor Heritage Advisor is making waves. This sporty, yet functional piece is designed to be a cut above the rest, while still having a few tricks up its sleeve.

Probably the biggest and most interesting aspect of it is its alarm function. As a throwback to the old style of advisor watches, this Tudor model gets everything right. While you probably won't be using it as your only dedicated alarm, the watch offers an interesting way to keep alert throughout your day, but with added style. On the one hand, the dial, either in black or white, has a superb presentation with its subdials and alarm indicator. Few other brands could pull of this look with such ease. The date subdial is well-positioned and sized to offer a remarkable view when cut between the sleek hour and minutes hands. With a domed sapphire crystal and Tudor's 2892 calibre movement, this piece comes in with both style, functionality, and dependability no matter the time or place.

Posted by Schiffman's at 2:00:00 AM in Tudor (5)

When it comes to the Tudor Pelagos, this watch is a stunning piece that rises above its competitors. As a mechanical watch, it comes with an all in-house movement from a brand well-regarded for its performance. Yet, the titanium and steel case paired with its sapphire crystal delivers superior durability and a solid capabilities. In terms of design, it's crisp white indices and hands offer a marked statement against its dial. The classic snowflake hour hand is equally unique, yet stylish in its minimalism. Once set against a blue or black dial, it makes a statement like no other watch. In addition, the unidirectional bezel adds that trendy tool watch look that has become a staple of the watch enthusiast community. Once you add in the luminous markers and a helium escape value, this watch is elevated to the extremes of craftsmanship and luxury. Official certified in terms of its chronometer status, the Tudor Pelagos is a watch you'll be proud to take on any adventure.

Sixty years of watch-making tradition

Posted by Schiffman's at 4:00:50 AM in Tudor (5)

Tudor designed a timepiece that epitomizes the iconic watchmaker’s 60 years of heritage in an awesome timepiece—the Heritage Black Bay. Called “Midnight Blue” by Tudor enthusiasts, the Tudor Heritage Black Bay, now with a mechanical movement, features a blue bezel that manifests the sharp variation and bold face that gives it a professional technical tool character. But apart from these nuances are the elements that provides a glimpse of Tudor’s illustrious past models, such as its main lines, crystal, and domed dial—which are derived from the very first collection of Tudor diving timepieces. This watch also showcases the famous “big crown” (ca. 1950s) and the “snowflake,” or the distinct angular hands of Tudor 1970s collections. You can get the Heritage Black Bay either with an aged leather strap and folding clasp or a steel bracelet.

Luxury watches need not be that expensive

Posted by Schiffman's at 2:00:00 AM in Tudor (5)

Signature watches are not about the price, but the value the price represents. You may have the most expensive watch, but are you getting its worth? A good value-for-money luxury watch is the Tudor Heritage Black Bay Bronze diver’s watch. It is inspired by the retro-forward style that combines vintage with modern and high-function technology. More importantly, this Tudor watch is placed at an ideal price point that makes it one of the best valued luxury models in the market. It is pegged at around $3,975, a good value for its category. Likewise, the watch features the iconic angular hands described or “snowflakes,” which were first introduced to the French navy in the seventies. The 43-mm case also makes the watch big enough to showcase, while small enough to conveniently wear every day.
