Ball as one of America’s iconic brands

Posted by Schiffman's at 12:00:00 PM in Ball (6)

America is a country of great innovators. In the tv series, “Genius”, we are presented with some of the country’s most iconic inventions, and later brands, pitting the American innovators against each other. It’s the competitive spirit in America that lent the drive to the search on how to improve existing things. From the discovery of flight by the Wright brothers, to how electricity is used, as we know it now, was developed through trial and error, and to the rise of the Microsoft and Apple borne out of a heated fight between their founders, America is arguably home to the most number and most impactful innovations in the world. On this context, we can include Ball, the watch company, as one of the country’s innovators, having succeeded in developing a standard time for the U.S. railroad to follow. The railroad would become the backbone to America’s journey to become a highly industrialized nation.

Ball technologies

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:00:00 AM in Ball (6)

Watches are first a technological marvel before a luxurious item. Even as many signature brands today have released their lines of glamorous watches accented by precious stones and metals, the timepieces that deliver you the best value for money are those that feature the latest state-of-the-art technologies. These ensure that your watch maintains utmost time accuracy and lifelong durability. This is where Ball watches excel. It’s got not one but numerous patented technologies that make Ball a highly reliable watch—American railroads depend on its accuracy. Its antimagnetic technology guarantees that the watch ticks on a precise regular pattern even if exposed to magnetic fields. The gas light technology lets you see the numerals clearly in the dark without the harsh effect of regular lighting. It also features a patented spring lock movement to ensure precise movement even in extreme weather.

Ball Watch: A Piece of Americana

Posted by Schiffman's at 7:54:22 PM in Ball (6)

The beauty of the classics never die. They exude this sort of charm that transports us back to the distant past. It gives us an idea how it would be like to live back then and be back then. This, I think, is a healthy romanticism that help us keep our traditions and honor our heritage. As a watch enthusiast, I like to have pieces that have some sort of history in them. In that sense, they would not just be a functional item or something to show off but something that connects me to the whole grand scheme of things. This is why I always check out Ball Watch. With its many contribution to the railroad and transportation industry, its easily a brand that signifies a piece of Americana.

Tough symbol

Posted by Schiffman's at 12:00:00 PM in Ball (6)

Your lungs gasp for what remains of the thinning air that only gets thinner as you move up. Worse, the air thins out just as your body demands more oxygen; your muscles work harder to climb up a terrain that gets steeper on every step. Welcome to Edurne Pasaban’s idea of outdoor fun. She’s the first woman to ever climb all fourteen of the eight-thousander peaks in the world. She got onto a good start, having climbed Mt. Everest on the first leg of his 14-peak journey. She’s no stranger to frostbites, chilly winds, and the chest-compressing lack of oxygen. It’s a tough environment up there, yet this Spanish overcame the odds and claimed a piece in mountain climbing history. She’s a perfect ambassador for Ball Watch, the symbol of tough in timepieces.
