Suna Bros. showers you in true luxury

Posted by Schiffman's at 5:00:00 AM in Suna Bros (36)

When the occasion calls for a truly luxurious and elegant appearance, there’s but one way to dress up: the Suna Bros. way. Specifically the Suna Bros. Queen Anne’s Lace, a glamorous selection of jewelry to make you feel like a royal. The collection features diamonds set in platinum across necklaces, earrings, bracelets and pendants. The Platinum Diamond Lace Pendant is without doubt the star, rendered in fine platinum laces tied together by circles encrusted in tiny diamonds and highlighted by larger diamonds as pendant. More elegant pendants are to be had including a diamond-laced hexagon and a clover in circle encrusted with diamonds. The same luxury is evident in the platinum and diamond earrings and bracelets, which combine bold and fine lines at the right spots. The Queen Anne’s Lace also features an Eternity Emerald gracing one of the lines of earrings and pendants.

Casafina turns metallic

Posted by Schiffman's at 5:45:00 AM in Casafina (31)

You won’t hear the signature porcelain “tink” in this Casafina collection, but “tink” still it is; that is, of metal. The brand has released its latest selection of home décor animal metal sculptures, handcrafted and hand-painted and adding an eclectic accent to your interior. The Metal Pig provides an ironic elegance; it looks like an element taken straight out of a pastel painting. Similarly, the Metal Rooster is captured in fable realism, like a real character taken out from a childish fairy tale. He is joined by a cacophony of more Plump Metal Roosters rendered in playful colors. Standing alone these roosters command attention; together, they create a joyful treat for both adults and kids. Meanwhile, the Metal Sheep is truly cartoony, yet the attention to details reveals this is no toy but a masterpiece. Completing the animal farm are the Large and Small Metal Cow and the Metal Owl.

Let the sun shine

Posted by Schiffman's at 5:00:00 AM in Slane (32)

The sun shines on Slane, ever. The Slane Solis Collection, a range of sun-inspired designs that run across the brand’s earrings, pendants, and rings is both classic and contemporary. The sun itself is etched and embossed like in Renaissance art, with each ray creating their own movement and unique lines in yellow gold. The round middle is encrusted with diamonds that literally create the scintillation of a thousand minute suns exploding at once and capturing a mesmerized eye. Various precious stones provide a luxurious backdrop; even as each stone threatens to steal the limelight from the sun accent. These include lapis, black mother of pearl, and turquoise that create a vibrant platform from which rests the embossed sun. An intricately crafted sterling silver or yellow gold provides an elegant rim and enclosure that make this Slane collection truly a shining piece.

The Mystic of Rubies

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:00:00 AM in Roberto Coin (43)

Do you know that touching a ruby can bring you wealth, health and happiness? Forever, really, at least for ancient Egyptians who regarded the precious stone to have mystic powers. True or not, rubies are elegant for sure. They are timeless and exquisite, which perhaps made the ancient people imagine these stones were out of this world. Well, Roberto Coin thinks, too, as far as creating ruby jewelry into mythological attractions with contemporary styles. The world-class luxury signature is renowned as one of the world’s most luxurious jewelry, especially for its fashionable use of rubies and rubellite. We don’t guarantee that a Roberto Coin ruby will bring you fortune; only that it will surely bring curious, gawking attention to it. Besides you must have enough fortune already to wear a Roberto Coin.

Babyhood heirloom

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:00:00 AM in Empire Silver Co (31)

There is a trivial but luxurious feel when collecting Empire Silver Co. items. Take the Baby Cups line. Empire Silver Co. presents a cute if not glamorous collection of baby cups that some people might mistake more as a display than a functional baby accessory. They cannot be faulted, though. The cups are rendered in unblemished gleaming silver. The lines are slender and rounding around perfectly shaped bends. The rims are riddled with symmetrical ridges that act as a stylistic embellishment as well as to help little lips get a steady hold of the rim when drinking. But go ahead use them for little junior. They are designed as functional items, really. But they are also an elegant heirloom, sturdy items that will pass the test of time, to remind little junior of his babyhood.

For more than thirty five years now, the signature watchmaker has been creating timepieces that are at once classic, graceful, yet with a touch of vigor for the gentleman and tease for the lady. The brand maintains its tinge of seduction, too, since it launched the Parsifal collection in the nineties that featured the signature’s original complications. But the joyous Cherry theme is most amplified during breakfast, when the early morning light beams right through the window and shines in the Gien Cherry dinnerware. One of Grainger McKoy’s most difficult artworks

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:00:00 AM in Grainger McKoy (37)

Grainger McKoy’s “Least Bittern” work in 1987 is perhaps one of the artist’s greatest works. “It’s one of my greatest challenges,” the artist said, citing the difficulty in creating the mirror image of the bird in the water. The sculpture is masterfully crafted with subtleties that despite being made from basswood, each element in the artwork achieves a stunning semblance to reality. The grass looks thin and delicate and can easily be blown away at any moment, while the bird appears as real flesh and meat. Even the mirror image seems a true reflection that it tricks the eye if, indeed, this is a sculpture or an image captured by a camera. The artist used walnut, metal and oil pain to create the accents and support and breathe life to the bird and his surroundings. The “Least Bittern” is just one of the masterpieces by Grainger McKoy, the name synonymous to high-end wood sculpture.

Keeping in tune with yourself

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:10:00 AM in Philip Stein (33)

Luxury watch brands run the gamut of beauty, functionality and…health? Yes, where other timepieces focus on elegance or precision movement, Philip Stein has your general well-being in mind, while maintaining accuracy and aesthetics at the same time. The brand uses natural frequency technology that creates a balance inside our bodies. Our bodies produce natural frequency, but sometimes, because of the artificial noise that cities create, our internal frequency is set off at a wrong tune, putting stress in our bodies. Philip Stein’s natural frequency helps to restore this internal tune back in sync with our body systems. It’s an innovation that made Will and Rina Stein—the founders—famous that their watch was even included in “Oprah’s Favorite Things” in 2003 just shortly after the brand’s launching.

60,000 Porcelain patterns and counting

Posted by Schiffman's at 12:00:00 PM in Haviland (31)

From the time David Haviland shipped the first Haviland porcelain dinnerware pieces from Limoges, France in 1842 until today, the designer dinnerware company has known to have created as much as 60,000 porcelain patterns. Although there hasn’t been a formal cataloguing of the patterns with factory records offering little data—the numbering system was only started during the ninety thirties—many accept the figure since Haviland has been regarded as a prolific manufacturer of high-end porcelain dinnerware that uses advanced firing and innovative decorating techniques. It has a wide array of designs that range from simple linear patterns to the more flamboyant rainforest-inspired theme. Today, Haviland is a sought-after brand for fine dining, gracefully decorating hotels and luxury restaurants around the world.

Manly pearls

Posted by Schiffman's at 11:00:45 AM in Mikimoto (45)

Pearls are a lovely and luxurious symbol of purity mostly associated with women. Mikimoto thinks otherwise and the luxury brand goes beyond pearl necklaces, earrings and bracelets. It goes manly. The Mikimoto line of gentlemen fashion is just as lovely if not a subtle reflection of an alpha male’s confidence. The cufflinks and tuxedo studs offer a soft glamour air to a man’s wear without succumbing to unwarranted vanity. Studded with Grey and Black South Sea cultured pearls, the pieces reflect an elusive light that faintly glimmers from the pearls inner core. Bracelet for the bold and daring

Posted by Schiffman's at 9:00:00 AM in Metalsmiths Sterling (34)

It’s edgy but still maintains an air of elegance. The Metalsmiths Sterling Ink Collection of metallic tone bracelets is bold in Medieval art, resonating a tattoo art. Yet the bracelets can be as subdued as a plain chain, while still exuding quality sterling silver craftsmanship. Other than the trivial bird attached to it, the Ink Ladies’ Bracelet is naturally bare except for the hallmark insignia that declares it’s made from the highest standard in sterling silver manufacturing. For a more delicate touch, the bracelet features chains that gracefully twist around the wrist. On the other hand, the Men’s Bracelet is quite the opposite: bold and daring with a crown insignia encrusted on it. Even so, this piece is surprisingly a perfect fit even in formal wear.

Ideal engagement ring

Posted by Schiffman's at 8:00:00 AM in Mémoire (37)

What’s the most ideal engagement ring? Prince Williams thought her late mother’s engagement ring is perfect for Kate. Richard Burton thought the perfect ring is the most expensive one that he gave to Elizabeth Taylor. For Michael Douglas, it doesn’t have to be the most expensive. Maybe about $2.5 million dollars is enough. For Jennifer Lopez it doesn’t matter which is the perfect ring. She has returned them all to her exes including to her latest, Marc Anthony. Beyond the price and glamor, we say the perfect engagement ring is the best that you can afford. That’s enough to showcase your commitment, that you’re giving her your best shot. Of course it wouldn’t hurt if you give her a Mémoire engagement ring. It’s at once classic and contemporary and glamorous enough to make your lady feeling like a true celebrity.

It’s raining gemstones for Marco Bicego. The designer specializes in colored precious stones such as sapphires, topazes, and amethysts. The air of fluidity is undeniable. Each Marco Bicego piece reflects the designer’s cultural expression with biases for African, Arabian, and Indian influences with a touch of his Italian flair. Some of his impressive works include colorful necklaces that display a collection of gemstones in their various tones. The gemstones are tied together by gold elements, providing a subdued contrast to the glimmering precious stones. Another stylistically popular Marco Bicego pieces are his necklace beads and bracelets. Even in their bold renditions, these pieces still exude the delicate touch of the artist, each stone touching another stone or the metal as gentle as a leaf falling and touching ground.
